Prioritizing Your Home Search

Here are some items to think about so we can effectively narrow your Home Search Criteria:

• List Price - Your lender will help you determine this price based on what you would like to spend per month. Avoid searching more than 5% above your limit, as sellers could negotiate a reasonable amount but you do not want to waste your time (or fall in love) with a home that is too expensive.
• Location - Let us know if you have a favorite community or if you will have a longer commute and need access to the freeway.
• Schools - If you have a school preference or need to research school accountability ratings we can help.
• Home Details - We will ask for your preferences on one story vs. two, master bedroom upstairs or down, number of garage spaces, wanted extra rooms such as study or gameroom, preferred age of home, and approximate square footage.
• Lot Description - Larger lot, acreage, lake front, wooded, patio lot, or cul-de-sac are all great options to define.
